Brian Masat, MA, LPC

I discovered the power of counseling when a series of events left me confused, hurt, and alone in my counselor’s office. Through our conversations, I began to unpack my own story, finding compassion for myself and experiencing the kindness and understanding of my counselor. Witnessing healing and growth in areas I once thought were irreparable inspired me to help others in the same way.

I am passionate about providing a safe, supportive space where individuals can slow down and connect with their stories. I specialize in supporting those dealing with addiction, emotions, grief, and relationship issues. Whether you’re facing anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem challenges, or life transitions, I offer guidance and therapeutic interventions tailored to your goals.

In our sessions, I prioritize establishing a strong therapeutic relationship built on active listening, validation, and collaboration. Together, we explore practical strategies to empower you and facilitate positive changes. With my clinical experience working with individuals and couples dealing with addiction, abuse, mental health issues, depression, anxiety, anger management, and trauma, I am confident in my ability to help you navigate your challenges and achieve desired outcomes.

I hold a Master’s in Counseling and Theological Studies from Covenant Seminary. When I’m not working, I enjoy a quiet life – playing board games with my daughters, reading fiction, or sipping coffee with my wife on our backyard deck.
