Fees & Insurance
CrossRoads accepts private payment by card, check or cash payment. A number of our counselors accept Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield and Optum/United Healthcare. It is important to note that when a client chooses to file insurance, their counselor will be required to assign a diagnosis that will become part of their permanent HIPAA protected medical record. While this is common, it is an important practice to understand as a medical consumer.
For those who find counseling fees and insurance coverage as barriers to effective counseling care, CrossRoads offers a sliding scale and/or counseling scholarships to those with demonstrated financial need.
Counseling fees in our region range from $90 – $225 for Licensed Clinical Counseling services. At CrossRoads, our fee range is $55 – $145. We have intentionally designed a business model and fee structure that allows us to prioritize client care over ability to pay, while retaining an excellent team of gifted, experienced clinical counselors.
We do this, in part, by careful stewardship of our resources so that our therapists are also compensated fairly. We see this as good care for both our clients and our staff.
With the help of our community partners, we raise funds to provide counseling scholarships and operate satellite offices in under-served communities, making excellent, innovative, faith-informed counseling available to people across the socioeconomic spectrum.
We have some of the most experienced counselors in St. Louis, who are happy to work on a team that honors their passion for putting people first. You can reach out to our new client coordinator at 314.469.5522 x2 to learn more about the options available to you.
If you would like for your card to be run automatically by our office after your therapy sessions, please discuss this with your therapist. To make the payment process quicker and easier, you can securely store your payment information in our billing system (without yet making a payment) at the following link: Store Card On File with CrossRoads Counseling Centers.
