Regina Rodgers, Intern

Working through heartache, shame, and the wounds that this broken world can leave is challenging. However, not facing them can be equally difficult. By reaching out for help, you’ve shown courage. It will be worth it, and I would be honored to accompany you on this journey. Having worked with teens in residential and foster care settings, as well as serving as a caseworker for adults with mental health disabilities, I am passionate about helping people be fully seen and reaching their goals of wholeness and flourishing.  I lived a lot of my life avoiding my own personal hurts, and I know how damaging it can be to let secrets stay hidden in the darkness. I believe this is why counseling has been laid on my heart.

I have a passion for working with teens and adolescents as they manage changes in life, anxiety, depression, grief, and foster/adoption related concerns. I would love to be able to connect with parents to be a resource as they are guiding their children.  I would also be honored to walk with adults as they process grief and loss.

I am currently pursuing my Masters in Counseling at Covenant Theological Seminary, and I am so grateful to intern at CrossRoads. I was born and raised in St. Louis, so if you want to talk about how the Cardinals are amazing, Ted Drewes is the best place for ice cream, or that Imo’s is actually wonderful pizza, I am your girl! I look forward to working with you.
